Description
- Responsibility for the cyber security strategy and risk management
- Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations
- Identify needs, assess risks, and come up with a workplan to maintain a strong security posture
- Ensure data recovery plan is in place and tested
- Create and manage information security and risk management awareness training programs
- Identify, report and control security incidents, including post analysis and mitigating recommendations
- Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems
- Manage security incidents in the production and IT environments
- Lead remediation from audit findings or security incidents
- Own the company's security awareness program and training
Requirements
- 3+ years practical experience as CISO
- Experience with cloud-based security - an advantage
- Demonstrated understanding of technological trends and developments in the areas of information security, risk management, Web architectures, and Cloud computing
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and changing environment
- Must have an excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST
- Hands-on experience with cyber security and/or development - an advantage
